Welcome to the Chattanooga Section Home Page. We are a local section of the American Chemical Society located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We promote public awareness of chemistry by being involved in outreach programs in our community and working with students to encourage an interest in the chemical sciences.
Join us for the February 26th meeting of the ACS Local Section hosted with UTC Chemistry. Our speaker will be Ed Yeilding, Lt. Col. (retired). Lt. Col. Yeilding will show stunning photographs from flights of the SR-71 “Blackbird” and discuss the numerous technical details about this fascinating aircraft.
